The name "WICKID" combines the importance of the "wick" and the "id." The wick is the foundation of a candle's life, while the id represents the primal part of the mind that controls thoughts and processes.

It is our mission to create and convey a story through a creative and unique use of scents, colors, and education. As we develop each product, much thought is put into the feelings we want to evoke and how we can tap the part of the mind where innate instinctive impulses and primary processes are manifested…the ID.

A CHALLENGE BECOMES A MISSION...
The year was 2015, while wandering through the candle aisle at Target with my kids, I realized how uninspiring and cheaply made the candles were. They were single-note fragrances, smelling of chemicals, and seemingly only catered to women. I complained to my wife, who finally challenged me "If you think you can do better, why don't you make your own candle". That challenge sparked something in me, and little did I know it would lead to an exciting journey of candle-making. Today, I create candles that bring light and joy into people's lives by using amazing ingredients and teaching them how to get the most out of their candle experience. It's been an incredible ride...come join the revolution!
